Le Centre d\u2019archives de Vaudreuil-Soulanges (CAVS) a pour mission d\u2019assurer la gestion et la sauvegarde du patrimoine archivistique de la r\u00e9gion. Ce patrimoine documentaire ou \u00e9crit provient essentiellement d\u2019organismes, d\u2019entreprises, d\u2019institutions ou de familles de la r\u00e9gion. Le Centre favorise l\u2019acc\u00e8s et la diffusion de ses documents par le biais de publications, d\u2019animations, de films et d\u2019autres technologies num\u00e9riques.<\/p>\n

En vertu de son agr\u00e9ment par Biblioth\u00e8que et Archives nationales du Qu\u00e9bec, le Centre d\u2019archives b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie des services d\u2019un archiviste \u00e0 plein temps. Il est soutenu dans ses activit\u00e9s d\u2019acquisition, de traitement, de conservation et de diffusion par un conseil d\u2019administration compos\u00e9 d\u2019administrateurs issus de la r\u00e9gion de Vaudreuil-Soulanges.<\/p>\n

\u00ab La mission du centre d’archives de Vaudreuil-Soulanges est de conserver le patrimoine documentaire de la Mont\u00e9r\u00e9gie-Ouest. Nous avons choisi de cr\u00e9er un fonds et choisi la FGM dans le but de p\u00e9renniser la conservation des archives de la r\u00e9gion. \u00bb<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
